Seeking a scholar with a well-defined research agenda and the potential to contribute through creative, innovative, and rigorous scholarship. Responsibilities include research, teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels, student mentoring, and participation in the school community.
Research interests may complement the school’s strengths in health and aging; marginalized youth and families; sexual and gender minority health; and violence and violence prevention. Research that expands these areas, including innovative methods addressing emerging issues, is also welcome.

Preferred qualifications

- Success acquiring extramural research funding.

Qualifications and application materials
Minimum qualifications
- Doctorate in Social Work or a closely related field from an accredited institution by the appointment start date. ABD candidates may be considered.
- MSW from a CSWE-accredited program.
- Successful teaching experience in a CSWE-accredited social work program.
- Evidence of research and scholarly activity, including refereed publications, potential for funded projects, and scholarly presentations.
- Strong commitment to working with diverse students, faculty, and staff.
Preferred qualifications
- Undergraduate and graduate teaching in behavioral health, direct practice with children and families, or related macro policy and practice.
- Experience mentoring master’s theses or projects.
- Current clinical social work licensure (LCSW).
